Our Club

The Duhallow Hunt Branch of the Irish Pony Club was founded in the 1950’s. Its membership comes from the North Cork area.  Past members included John Joe O’Neill, Brendan Powell, Richard McLernon, Austin O’Connor, Conor King, David Noonan and Maxine O Sullivan.  The Duhallow Hunt Pony Club is a voluntary organisation where young people who love ponies and riding can join and progress to what ever level of equestrianism they desire. There are Pony Club Members from all over North Cork in the Duhallow Hunt Pony Club aged from 7 to 23 years of age.

Notes For New & Exisiting Members

• Please check our website for continued updates.
• To reduce costs newsletters will not be routinely sent by post from now on. All communication will be through webtext and the website. If you have not been receiving web text messages text Michelle on 0863998061.
• It will be neccessary for all members to attend 3 rallies this year before attending camp or taking part in competitions.
• Backprotecters must be worn at all rallies, and if riding cross country approved skull caps, backprotectors and medical armbands must be worn.

Policy on Photographs

At Duhallow Hunt Pony Club we have a policy of taking pictures at some of the rallies and events during the year, and then we sometimes put these pictures up on our website www.duhallowponyclub.ie and Facebook page for our members enjoyment. We realise that this may not suit all members so we would ask that if you are not happy with your child being included in this then please notify the DC.  The full policy is available for download from the Irish Pony Club website at www.irishponyclub.ie
