The Red Mills National Eventing Championships at Ballindenisk 2019

We were well represented at The Red Mills Eventing Championships in Ballindenisk in August. We had Under 12 ,Junior and Intermediate teams competing and all doing us proud. Day 1  started of with all doing dressage followed by showjumping, finishing with the under 12  cross country and presentation. We had great success on day 1 with our under 12 team ‘The Duhallow Dolls’ pulling out all the stops to take overall team winners, well done to Sarah, Ella, Victoria and Grace with all four girls producing clear rounds cross country and inside the time. Sarah and Ella also placed 3rd in there Arenas. Well done to all the girls this was a huge achievement.

Day 2 saw our Intermediates ‘The Duhallow Dancers’ and Juniors ‘The Duhallow Dashers’  take on some seriously difficult cross country fences. The Intermediate girls of Anna,Hannah, Isabelle and Laura finished with four super clear cross country rounds to help the team to finish 4th overall. Hannah also finished 5th in her arena. Well done girls. The Junior team of Rachel,Eva,Tommy and Dorothy later took on their cross country which is fair to say was a very difficult course but well done to all four of them. Congrats to Rachel for finishing 2nd in her arena. well done again to all that took part.

A massive thank you must be passed on to all the organisers for a well organised event and to all the parents and members for supporting the children.
